Yoga Journal Live NYC + A Spa Day at abc carpet & home

This past Saturday I was in yoga, spa day, happy place bliss when I split the day between the beauty wellness wisdom Spa Day Event at abc carpet & home and the Yoga Journal Live NYC conference. Bruce Almighty joined me (for the great shots) as well as my new friend Jenné Claiborne, vegan chef, culinary and wellness guru, and owner of Sweet Potato Soul. What a day of incredible light!

This year’s YJ Live conference featured motivational speakers, yogis & yoginis, and wellness experts such as Gabrielle Bernstein, Shiva Rea, Kathryn Budig, Leslie Kaminoff, Sadie Nardini, and more. In addition, free classes were offered throughout the day on the Expo (also free and open to the public) floor. My highlight is always seeing and sharing the event with my students and fellow teachers and although we weren’t able to stay for long, mission accomplished! Namaste.

Off to abc carpet & home we went! When I say that this is one of my favorite places in the City, it would be an understatement. It just makes me smile.

The beauty wellness wisdom Spa Day featured a host of eco-brand founders and their products, massages, facials, lessons in chocolate, astrology readings, talks and master classes by some of the most renowned health and wellness experts and healers in their fields. I had the luxury of sitting in on a demonstration with the team at Tracie Martyn, made green smoothies with Candace Kumai, and enjoyed a hand massage with Laxmi, among so much more during my time. Add to that all of the delicious, eco-friendly, organic, vegan, fabulous for you products from that day that I can’t wait to try. Pure bliss. Until next year!

When was the last time you took time for yourself to nourish mind body and spirit? I’d love for you to share in the comments below!
