Spring Peas & Radishes

All hail spring! We made it! Well, we’ve almost made it.

The official start of spring is just days away and I can’t wait to get my hands on the fresh stuff. Bye bye winter root veggies, hearty soups, stews, and all foods comfort. Hello bright, light, crunchy, sweet, and savory spring fruits and veggies.

The change of season brings two of my favorites – – spring peas and radishes. Since I get them farm fresh from either Corbin Hill Food Project farm share or NYC Green Markets, everyone in my house just eats them raw as a snack or in simple to fabu salads . But, they’re both great in a stir fry or sauté. And here’s a tip – Eat the radish greens! They’re delicious and nutritious.
