Last week Bruce Almighty and I traveled to Barbados for a quick work and play trip. No, really! It was work…and play. We were hosted by the Barbados Tourism Authority, Spanning the Globe Tours, and Blu Isles. And, it was absolutely amazing! We’d never been to Barbados before and were completely open to whatever it had to offer in our short time. Needless to say, we were completely blown away by the beauty of the country, its culture, and of course, its people.

Over the course of the weekend we explored both the east and west coasts of the island, shared a practice in Stand Up Paddle Board yoga with Stef Lemieux of Santosha Yoga Barbados, experienced the one and only Oistin’s Friday Night Fish Fry, took a walking meditation and played in the surf at Bottom Bay Beach, explored and stayed at the most beautiful resorts and villas, dined at the most exquisite of restaurants, Lonestar, while watching the sunset over the Caribbean Sea, relaxed by our pool as a family of green monkeys shyly looked on curiously, took a brief, but much needed rest together, and breathed it all in. Divine.

We can’t wait to return! And next time, we’re taking you with us!
